An American singer and actor, born Fabiano Anthony Forte in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on February 6, 1943. Fabian was nominated for a Primetime Emmy award in 1993, and was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2002. He rose to fame as a teen idol from the late 1950s with many hit songs, including "Tiger" and "String Along". He then turned to acting with his acting debut in Hound-Dog Man (1959). He's known for The Longest Day (1962), Thunder Alley (1967) and Ten Little Indians (1965). After he retired in 1977, he resumed performing in 1981. Fabian was married three times and had three children.
