She made her debut at the Centre for Indian Classical Dance in New Delhi, founded the non-profit Sanskriti Centre for Indian Arts, taught at Symphony Space for the Arts, and worked at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. She has performed at hundreds of public and private schools, colleges, and universities across the United States, including Columbia University, New York University, and the University of Texas at Austin. She appeared in A New Christmas (2019) and directed, produced, and starred in The Warrior Queen of Jhansi (2019).
