Kenneth Williams was a British actor born in Kings Cross, London, on February 22, 1926, and died in Camden, London, on April 15, 1988. Williams is best known for his roles in Carry on Cleo (1964), Carry on Don't Lose Your Head (1967), Carry on Follow That Camel (1967), and Carry on Camping (1969). Kenneth Williams was encouraged by his English teacher at Central Council Government School, who discovered his passion for music, history, and poetry. He made his first artistic appearance in the school's theatre. He worked on a famous comedy radio program called Hancock's Half Hour, which allowed him to participate in the cinema in 1952 with the movie Trent's Last Case. |
