American actress and singer, born on May 31, 1975, in Okinawa, Japan to a Korean and Japanese mother and an African American father serving in the United States Air Force. She graduated from a high school in Papillion, Nebraska, and then attended the Theatre Conservatory at Roosevelt University in Chicago on a full scholarship and graduated with a BFA in Theatre. She starred on Broadway as The Lady of the Lake in the Mike Nichols-directed Spamalot. She is known for Half-Life 2: Episode One (2006), The Last of Us (2013), and Half-Life 2 (2004).
