A former French actress, born in Paris. Her father was a factory worker and a German prisoner of war. She began her career as a child dancer and flourished during the 1950s and 1960s. She made her acting debut in François Villiers' L'eau vive (1958), which won the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Her second drama film was Les tricheurs (1958), written and directed by Marcel Carné. This story featured her as the fiancée of actor Pierre Brice, and she went on to star in films such as Moon Pilot (1962), Tales of Paris (1962), Pierrot la tendresse (1960), Asphalte (1959), Atomic Agent (1959), La dragée haute (1960), Dans la gueule du loup (1961), and Comment réussir en amour (1962). She retired from the film and entertainment industry in the late 1980s.
