A Chinese director, writer, and actor, born in Canton, China. He went to Sun Yat-sen University, where he studied chemistry for 3 years. He became a writer in the movie industry in 1956. He made his film debut in The Soul Stealer, directed by Ng Wui. He is known for Sun, Moon and Star: Part 1 (1961) and Black Lizard (1981). He was married to Nam Hung, and he passed away on February 21, 2022, in Hong Kong.
