He was a Chinese director and writer, born on October 8, 1934, in Canton, China. He went to Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China, where he studied chemistry for 3 years. He became a writer in the movie industry in 1956. His writing debut film was "Bloodshed in the Valley of Love" in 1957, directed with Chin Chien. He is known for Sun, Moon and Star: Part 1 (1961), Sun, Moon and Star: Part 2 (1961), and Black Lizard (1981). He was married to Hong Nan, and he passed away on February 21, 2022, in Hong Kong. |
