He is a French director and animator, born in 1968 in Poitiers, France. He is known for Calamity, a Childhood of Martha Jane Cannary (2020), Long Way North (2015), and The Secret of Kells (2009). Among his numerous awards and nominations, he received an Audience Award for Tout en haut du monde (2015) at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and a Grand Jury Award for Calamity, an Childhood of Martha Jane Cannary (2020) at the Almeria Western Film Festival.
