A Polish-Iranian actress, born in Mykolaiv, Russian Empire [now Mykolaiv, Ukraine]. When she was a child, she was forced to leave home with some of her family members after the Soviet invasion of Poland and was taken to a forced labor camp in Siberia, Soviet Union. Anna was one of the Polish refugees who fled the Soviet Union after the Axis invasion in 1941, after which she settled in Tehran, Iran. She participated in several works, most notably The White Balloon (1995), The Love-stricken (1992), and Going Astray (1988). She died on February 3, 2008, in Tehran, Iran.
