Polish film and stage actress, born in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Her family relocated to Toruń when she was seven years old. Following her high school graduation, she worked at the Wroclaw Theatre of Pantomime before earning her degree from the National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw in 1977. She was a part of the National Theatre, in Warsaw from that time till 1984. Her films include Another Way (1982), Bluszcz (1983), No End (1985), and A Short Film About Love (1988).
