An American actress, born in Iowa. She later moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1960, she started her acting career by appearing in a number of regional radio shows. She also did theater and commercial work. After that, she co-founded Hardman/Eastman, Inc. with Karl Hardman and then joined The Latent Image, Inc., another Pittsburgh-based company run by George Romero, where she made the 1968 horror movie Night of the Living Dead.
