An English actress born in Essex, England, United Kingdom. She was educated at Leigh North Street School, where she first discovered her talent in acting. She then began working as a secretary, despite her early desire to enter the theater. It took nearly 15 years before she landed a role with the Hanson Players, when she played an eccentric guest in the play "The Sleeping Prince".
She remained with the company for three years. years, and became famous for her majestic and impressive voice. Among her credits are The Embezzler (1954), Your Past Is Showing (1957), and One Way Pendulum (1965). She died on 13 November 2001 in Northwood, Hillingdon, London, England, United Kingdom following a stroke.
