He was the first actor to play the role of Dracula in the theater in 1927. He moved to the Duke of York's Theatre. He made his first appearance on Broadway in 1931, then returned to London to stand on the West End stage for a long time. In cinema, he debuted in What Happened Then (1934) and ended his cinematic career with Sleepwalker (1984), completing 50 years in cinema. Raymond Huntley began his television work with the beginning of British broadcasting at the end of the 1930s and participated in many works, the most prominent of which was the popular series Upstairs and Downstairs (1971-1975). He died in Westminster, London, England, United Kingdom on June 15, 1990.
