A British actress, born in Aylesbury, United Kingdom, to a Russian father and an Irish mother. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Her first television roles were as Jenny in Take Three Girls (1969) and as Zita in Steptoe & Son (1972), appearing with Harry Corbett. Her subsequent roles included The Ruling Class (1972), Yellow Dog (1973), and The Assignment (1977). She also appeared in Quantum Leap (1989).
