Salma El-Sharkawy |
American actor, born on October 10, 1927 in Ferndale, Michigan, USA. In 1948, he joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Newfoundland, Canada. He went to the University of Michigan. In the mid-1970s, he founded the Los Angeles Actors Theater, as well as the Santa Paula Theater Center in 1987. His acting career spanned over 50 years, and he made his debut in Guiding Light (1952). Among his best known works are The Sting (1973), MacGyver (1985-1992), and 2010: The Year We Make Contact (1984). He died on June 6, 2005 in Ventura, California, USA.
