A British actress, born in Beijing but raised in Manchester. She was an elementary school teacher before she decided to become an actress. She has since appeared in many notable roles in both film and television. She made her debut in Lilting (2014), and her other credits include Brave New World (2020) and The Salisbury Poisonings (2020).
