American actor born in New York, on February 7, 1904. His film debut was in the silent film The Man in Hobbles (1928), after which he appeared in numerous films till 1937, including Rio Grande Romance (1936), She Loves Me Not (1934) and Behind Stone Walls (1932). He had an acting career on Broadway, and was also a television director and producer during the 1950s. Edward died in 1995, at age 90. |
