She is an American ballet dancer, born on March 28, 1967, in Pueblo, Colorado, U.S. At the age of 6, she was trained by her mother, Nancy Tracy. In 1982, she was accepted as a student at the School of American Ballet. In 1986, Tracy joined the New York City Ballet (NYCB), launching a celebratory career that lasted 16 years. She was a lead dancer from 1991 until her retirement in 2002. She is known for her appearances in The Nutcracker (1993) and The Kennedy Center Honors: A Celebration of the Performing Arts (1996).
