An English actress, born in Sussex, England. She is the sister of actress Jeanette Thomsett. She attended the Elm Grove Infants and Juniors School. One of her brothers offered her to audition for The Max Bygraves Summer Show. After that, she appeared in several pantomime shows until she left high school to attend Phildene Stage School in London. She made several films for the Children's Film Foundation and appeared in several popular TV series, including Theater 625, Dixon of Dock Green, and Z Cars. She also starred in the comedy series The Very Merry Widow (1967-1968). Her film credits include The Railway Children (1970), Straw Dogs (1971), and Man About the House (1974).
