Filipino actress, born on August 20, 1959 in the Philippines. She studied Fine Arts and Advertising, where she graduated with honours from the University of Santo Tomas. She became involved in acting after joining an actors' workshop at the behest of her aunt, the movie producer, Odette Marquez. She has had numerous guest and regular roles in prime-time Philippine TV dramas and films and has worked on international productions as well. She started her acting career in theatre when she joined the Philippine Education Theater Association and the Gantimpala Theater Foundation in the Philippines.
