Spanish actress, born in Madrid, Spain. Her parents were actors Emilio Gutiérrez Esteban and Irene Capa Alba. She made her stage debut in 1951, participating in the play Mariquilla Terremoto, and in cinema in the film At Five in the Afternoon (1960). Her works followed, such as Nunca pasa nada (1963), Tiempo de amor (1964), Julia's Eyes (2010), and the series Estoy vivo (2017-2021). She won several awards, such as the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film You're the One (una historia de entonces) (2020), and she also won the Gold Medal of Merit in Fine Arts in Spain in 1994.
