Canadian actress, born in Barrie, Canada. She moved with her mother several times in her childhood. After her parents divorced, she finally spent her teenage years in Barrie, Ontario. She appeared in films, sitcoms, drama series, and TV commercials. At the age of 17, she began her voiceover career, since then she has recorded more than 7,000 radio and television works, in Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. She started in Toronto, Ontario, working at an advertising agency by day, taking college classes by night, and securing parts in television, radio, and stage productions. Barbara moved to New York City soon after to study acting at Carnegie Ballroom with celebrity trainer Freddy Karman and Herbert Berghof at HB Studios in Greenwich Village. After working and studying in New York City, she moved to Los Angeles where she was involved in several productions that took her all over the world. She is known for Final Destination (2000), Battle in Seattle (2007), and Resurrection (1999).
