A British actress was born in England, on October 29, 1940. She was married twice and did not have children. She was the second of three children to parents who run several restaurants. She made her first professional work in the West End theater at the age of 14. She worked as a model and presented commercials. She participated in a number of small roles in television and cinema. At the age of 20, she spent 3 months in Rome, where she participated in the movie Cleopatra in 1960 with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Upon her return she participated in television work with greater roles. The most important works of Angela Douglas: Hamlet (1996), Carry On Screaming! (1966), The Four Feathers (2002) and Follow that Camel (1967). In 2018, she published her first novel, Josephine An Open Book, a fictional novel based on her own experiences.
