A Canadian actress, born in Canal Zone, Panama, and grew up in Canada. She first appeared on the Canadian TV show You Can't Do That on Television from 1982 to 1984. The experience encouraged her to shift her focus from dancing to acting. After graduating from high school, she moved to New York City to study acting. She spent a summer at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts. She then attended the North Carolina School of the Arts, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Among her credits are Minority Report, Collateral, and Millennium.
