An American actress, born in Oak Park, Illinois, USA. She studied at Oak Park and River Forest High School and attended both Triton College and Clarke University but did not graduate. A member of the core group of actors at the Steppenwolf Theatre since 1997, she has spent most of her career working in the Chicago theatre scene. She has appeared in numerous stage productions, including Clybourne Park, American Buffalo, Dublin Carol, and Pillowman. Her other credits include Rookie of the Year (1993), Up in the Air (2009), The Dilemma (2011), and Chicago P.D. (2014).
