An American actress, born on December 8, 1976, in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. At the age of five, she attended the prestigious St. Louis Cathedral School of New Orleans. With an instinct towards performing, she started dancing and was inspired by the sounds of the radio to write lyrics. By her teens, she was performing at school concerts and became a fashion and cosmetics freak. She attended a cosmetology college in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Later on, she trained at Vincent Chase Studios in Hollywood and at the Performing Arts Center with Golden Globe-nominated John Sarno. She made her acting debut in Motorcycle Cheerleading Mommas (1997) and her other credits include Amistad (1997) and Homegrown (1998).
