She studied ballet at the Washington School of Ballet, acting at the Studio Theatre (Washington, D.C.) and voice at Catholic University of America. She began her career in 1982 and her credits include You've Got Mail (1998), Erin Brockovich (2000), and Two Weeks Notice (2002).
