An American surfer, born in Montebello, USA. With encouragement from four-time world champion Margot Oberg, she started surfing at the age of twelve. For more than thirty years, she pursued a career as a professional surfer, competing in both domestic and international events and finishing fourth in the world in 1988 and 1990. She has also been in a number of movies and qualified as a professional surfer in the World Championships in 1991.
