An American actor born in Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. He appeared in leading and supporting roles in films and television throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. His first major role was in the television series The Interns in 1970. His other TV credits include Wonder Woman (1978), Hunter (1977) and Mission: Impossible (1971). He later married actress Dee Wallace and co-starred with her in works such as The Howling (1981) and Cujo (1983). He died of a heart attack on October 20, 1995, at age 55.
