An American actress, born on March 7, 1975, in Madison, Wisconsin, USA, to a Telugu family from India. She is the daughter of Velcheru Narayana Rao and Nidadavolu Malathi, who is a writer of short stories and articles in Telugu and English. She attended Madison West High School. She earned her MFA in Acting in 2005 from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. She is best known for I Feel Bad (2018), Blockers (2018), and The Unicorn (2019).
