She moved to Montreal, Canada, in 1983 and began an extensive acting career in 1996, beginning after graduating from the Professional Theatre Program at John Abbott College. She has appeared in dozens of films, such as Pact with the Devil (2003), Brilliant (2004), Twisted (2018), Pyewacket (2017), and Best Sellers (2021), and series such as Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2018), and has also co-produced works such as Wait Till Helen Comes (2016).
