An Indian actress, born in 1975 in Mumbai to a Gujarati family. Patel was trained in acting at the National School of Drama in New Delhi. She owns a theatrical group called Panorama Art Theatres, which participates in children's plays. She obtained a degree in commerce. She is married to actor Radhakrishna Dutta. She acted in a few films directed by Shyam Benegal. She is known for Saath Nibhana Saathiya (2010), The Seventh Horse of the Sun (1992), and Jaago (2004).
