Among the most important roles of John Vere are in The Duchess of Malfi (1949), BBC Sunday-Night Theater (1950), and David Copperfield (1956). John Fair is an English film and television actor, who made his debut in the movie I See a Dark Stranger (1946) and ended his career with the series Hancock's Half Hour (1956- 1960).He died in 1961 at the age of 45 from a hypnotic overdose.
