She moved to Canada to work as a British stewardess at the British pavilion during the 1967 International and Universal Exposition, where she met her first husband, Roger Frappier, who was a director. She has appeared in most regional theaters across Canada as well as at the Shaw and Stratford Festivals. She has a familiar voice in drama and radio, and has voiced many animated characters. Her credits include Nightbooks (2021), Christmas Movie Magic (2021) and Loving Every Minute (2023).
