Maryam Nouhy |
A British director and producer born in Hull, Yorkshire, UK. He studied to be a doctor in Bristol and London and served in the war in Europe and the Middle East. Afterwards, he quit medicine to pursue a career in film. He became a film editor, then a director and producer. His directorial debut was on the film Circus Friends (1956). He is known for directing the Carry On film series with his producer friend Peter Rogers. Some of his other works include The Circle (1957) and The Duke Wore Jeans
(1958). He died on November 9, 1993 in Baconsfield, Buckinghamshire, UK.
