An American actor, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. He trained at the Actors Theatre of Louisville apprenticeship program. He then moved to Chicago and worked in theatre, film and television. He attended the University of Delaware's Professional Theatre Training Program, known as the P.T.T.P., where he received his MFA in acting in 1995. After grad school, he founded the American Shakespeare Theatre Company. Among his credits are Crypto, Code Name Banshee, and Succession. He's married to Heidi K. Eklund and they have two children, including actor Willoughby Pyle.
