She is an American actress born in Houston, Texas. She learned to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre from the University of Southern California and took acting classes at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. She starred in several productions such as television shows, feature films  and commercials. Her debut was in Ed (2001), and she is known for The Seventh Day (2021), Run with the Hunted (2019), and Preacher (2017).
