She is an American actress, born in Montclair, New Jersey. She graduated from Howard University. She directed several plays and films as well as coaching actors through auditions in Orlando. Barnes also works at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure on weekends. She appeared in various productions such as plays, films, and series. Her debut was in My Brother and Me (1995). Among her notable works are Jeepers Creepers (2001), Waves (2019), and Before I Wake (2016).
