A British actress born in Berkhamsted, UK. She danced in school and worked at the Palladium theatre in London at 17 years old. The following year, she began acting in film and television. She made her debut on the film On the Beat (1962). She also starred in the comedy film series Carry on. Other notable works of hers include The Avengers (1967), The Tenant of Wildfell Hall (1969), and Arthur of the Britons (1973). She married Greg Smith then divorced him and married Andrew Millington and stayed with him until she died. She died of liver cancer on 10 September 2019 in Hampshire, UK.
