An Australian singer, born in Sydney, Australia, to folk musician parents. In elementary school, she joined the school band with her father teaching and began playing the trumpet. After finishing high school, while on vacation with her brother Angus in South America, she was impressed by his musical talent and she began writing her own songs. By 2005, she began singing in live shows. Her albums include The Memory Machine (2010) and By the Horns (2012). She's known for Dirt Music (2019).
