An American actress, born on December 29, 1964, in Brooklyn, New York, USA. At the age of 14, she started acting with a minor role in Fame and starred in an off-Broadway Theatre production of "Black Girl." Later, she graduated from  New York High School of Performing Arts. She is known for Precious (2009), Head of the Class (1986-1991), and The Game (1997).
