A Moroccan journalist, novelist, and screenwriter, born in the village of Izerbi, Tafraout. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Arabic literature from Hassan II University, then a diploma in in-depth studies from Mohammed V University in Rabat. He began his journalistic career in 1981, moving between a number of national newspapers, such as Al-Bayan, Risala Al-Umma, and the National Charter. He also published his own newspaper, Mada’in, before later heading to work in screenwriting.
In addition to journalism, he has worked as a professor of the Arabic language since 1988. In the world of literature, he published his first novel "The Collapse" in 1986, followed by narrative and poetic works, most notably the short story collection "The Kingdom of Women" and in poetry "The Gypsy Collection" and "Goodbye, Mother". His credits in television drama include Half and Half Coffee, Demons Do Not Repent, and The Mask.
