A Palestinian actress, who hails from Jerusalem. Mariam began her artistic career in 2005 with the Palestinian National Theatre (El-Hakawati Theatre). In 2011, she joined the Theatre's Summer School (TAM). Basha worked on artistic projects with various Palestinian theaters, such as Ashtar Theatre, Al-Harah Theater, and The Freedom Theatre. She also works in the field of film acting and has appeared in Bassam Jarbawi's film Screwdriver, Farah Nabulsi's short film The Present, and Zaid Abu Hamdan's film Daughters of Abdulrahman. She currently works at the Red Noses International Organization and is a member of the comedy club at The Freedom Theatre in Jenin.
