An Iranian film and stage actress, born in Kermanshah, Iran. She attended university to train as a doctor, but she became a teacher in Tehran and then started acting on stage. She participated in such works as The Curse (1973) and Prince Ehtejab (1974). In 2010, she started living in the United States to be closer to her children. She was honored for her lifetime achievements at the San Francisco Iranian Film Festival.
