An Iranian actress and dubber, born on October 27, 1932, in Tehran, Iran. Film director Mehdi Sabbaghzadeh considered Niku the mother of Iranian cinema. Her film debut was in The Last Act, directed by Varuzh Karim-Masihi. Her other notable works include Unruled Paper (2002) and 50 Million Offer (2005). She died of a heart attack in a Tehran hospital on November 17, 2009, at the age of 77. |
