An American film, television, and radio actor, born on Long Island, New York, USA. He worked in vaudeville for two years after graduating from high school, in addition to his work in radio, and joined a touring company, before signing with Fox, to appear in B films, and spent a short period with the East Side Kids film series, then he returned to work alone, until his professional career was interrupted, by serving in the army during World War II. After the war, he worked in detective and action films, and appeared in the Bowery Boys film series as a replacement for actor Leo Gorcey. He continued to work in supporting roles in cinema and television until his death. He was married twice and had no children. Among his notable works are Fighting Trouble (1956), Racing Luck (1948) and Up in Smoke (1957). He died of emphysema in Pasadena, California, USA, on October 16, 1981, at age 55.
