An American actor of English-Scottish descent, born in Los Angeles, California, USA, to a wealthy family on the West Coast. He attended Los Angeles High School and graduated from Stanford University. He began his career performing on radio shows and doing a number of comedy recordings. He also appeared in a number of films and starred in several television series from the 1950s through the 1970s. His credits include Hot Rod Gang (1958), The Rounders (1965), and The Spirit Is Willing (1967). He committed suicide in California, USA, on January 16, 1983, at age 71. |
