She started working as a model as a teenager, after which she moved from Brisbane, Australia, to the United States in 1998. While she was attending Ashworth University to study interior design, she made a number of small TV appearances on shows such as Ripley's Believe It or Not! She is the hostess of the lifestyle TV series At Home with Didiayer. She is also a designer, known for her green designs on the Emmy-winning Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Moreover, Synder has channeled her creative abilities into the shows Clean House (2011) and Home Made Simple (2012-2013).
