A Lebanese actress, who obtained her degree in cinema studies after attending ALBA University in Beirut. She then continued her studies in Granada, Spain, where she joined CAU Theater, Dance, and Circus School. In 2015, Yara founded a space workshop for playwrights and performance artists in Beirut with the aim of developing their performance. She has participated in local and international performances, including her two solo performances, The Astronomical Grass and Night and Day, Beirut, which premiered at the Solo-Tanz-Theater Festival in Germany. Yara received a grant from AFAC to produce her work 'ēvolvō', which was shown for the first time at the BIPOD- Beirut International Platform of Dance, then at Al Madina Theater, and later at the Ciało/Umysł Festival in Warsaw, Poland.
