American actress, born in Los Angeles, California, on January 16, 1914. She was married 3 times and had two children. She wanted to be a dancer but her fragile health made her focus on acting. She's known for Dick Tracy (1937), Ride, Ranger, Ride (1936), and A Man Betrayed (1936). In 1997, she underwent heart surgery, and died the following year at age 84.
